Avionics Work
Posted On March 8, 2024
I’m slowly but surely getting all the avionics connected, and along the way, creating brackets and similar provisions for securing bulkhead connectors and wiring bundles. Here are a few photos showing how I created a plate that holds two circular connectors (TE CPC series 2) for passing most of the power and signals between the instrument panel and the sub-panel. These connectors make it much easier to install and remove the panel.
The plate is a simple sheet metal part I designed in Fusion360, and then I used the CAM workflow to create g-code to cut it with a CNC router.

I take the advantage of your publication.. I thought you had stopped building your plane !! I had no reply to my previous question.
I asked you when the flag governor will be available so that I can proceed with the cutting of my dashboard.
Thanks a lot in advance
